Class Description

Lego Robotics

Introduction to build and program robots using LEGO Mind storms Robotics Invention System. Students will learn mechanical design, construction, and programming, teamwork skills. In small teams, using LEGO blocks, motors, and sensors, students build robots that can walk, draw, and move objects, or find their own way, avoid obstacles. Students use control console or computer to teach their robots to move, react, and make sounds in order to solve challenges. This class is a good preparation for kids interested in robotics competitions such as FIRST LEGO League.
Building Lego robots is fun, but we want our kids to understate the working behind the robots. Children who are enrolled in the Lego robotics program for kids learn the engineering and concepts of robotics in the simplest form. Kids are encouraged to invent, manipulate, and explore all the possible outcomes while working with Lego.

It is important to remember that some of the best learning experiences of a child come from creative play, and we want to create an environment that enables them to do just that.

Children from an early age show where their interest is, either they like to create designs, play with tools lying around, or are intrigued by the idea of going into outer space.
